The Convention Keeper is Heidi's solution — built from the perspective of someone who has spent hundreds of hours on convention floors over 17+ years of convention attendance. It solves every one of those problems.
Features
The badge window is clear polycarbonate sized for standard convention badges (approximately 4"×3") — it won't cloud or scratch the way vinyl does after a few events. The back of the holder is a zippered pocket large enough for folded cash, cards, transportation passes, or the small essentials you need accessible without opening a bag. The lanyard is constructed in a coordinating fashion fabric (not the scratchy nylon tube that convention lanyards always are) on a roll-bar connector that allows the holder to sit flat rather than spinning. The lanyard length is adjustable via a slide adjuster to the correct position for your height.
The outer shell of the holder is constructed in your choice of fashion fabric from Heidi's current stock — typically fandom character prints, geeky patterns, or solid jewel tones. The construction is reinforced at all stress points: the lanyard attachment, the zip pull, and the badge window corners.
Construction Details
The holder body is constructed from fashion fabric over a rigid backing layer — giving the badge window the support needed to keep the badge visible and the holder's shape stable. The zip is a quality coil zip. The badge window polycarbonate is cut precisely and bound with matching fabric tape at the edges. The complete holder is approximately 4.5"×5.5" — slightly larger than the badge itself to allow for the zippered pocket depth at the back.
