Nami from One Piece is one of anime's most recognisable characters, with a distinctive colour palette and proportions that require careful fabric sourcing. Construction
The top is constructed from an orange performance lycra, structured with light boning to maintain shape. The tattoo-style Log Pose arm accessory is a combination of craft foam, Worbla thermoplastic, and hand-painted detail. The jeans were sourced from a base denim and altered significantly to match the character's specific silhouette.
Convention Performance
This costume was debuted at DragonCon and received immediate recognition from fans. The construction held up through a full two-day wear — a genuine test of structural integrity for a costume with multiple complex components.
