Domestic Shipping (US)
All US orders ship via USPS Priority Mail or UPS, depending on size and weight. Standard shipping typically arrives within 3–5 business days of dispatch. Large or fragile costume pieces may ship via UPS Ground with signature required. Tracking information is provided for all shipments.
International Shipping
International shipping is available for most items. Costs are calculated based on destination, size, and weight and quoted per order — international shipping for large costume pieces can be substantial. Clients are responsible for all customs duties, taxes, and import fees imposed by their country. Chimera Costumes is not responsible for delays caused by customs processing.
Commission Shipping
Commission clients are responsible for all shipping costs. These are added to the final invoice and paid before dispatch. For complex or elaborate costumes, Heidi may recommend specific packaging methods to protect the work during transit — she always photographs the packed costume before shipping as a record of condition at dispatch.
Lost or Damaged Shipments
All shipments are insured for the declared value of the contents. In the event of damage in transit, please photograph the packaging and contents immediately upon receipt and contact Heidi before discarding any packaging. Insurance claims require documentation of the damage.
